News on Byron Quarter

The Harrow Strategic Development Partnership (HSDP) is a partnership between Harrow Council and Wates. We are proposing to redevelop the land to the east of the Harrow Leisure Centre car park (former driving school).

We want to transform this underused 1.7-hectare site, creating a community of approximately 360 high quality homes, including affordable housing, with landscaped surroundings.

We need your views and ideas to help make sure the design proposals are the very best they can be. Please join us at our engagement event where you can find out more about the proposals and meet the team.

The HSDP will take the feedback from the first engagement to help shape further detailed proposals once they have been developed. A second event is scheduled in early 2022, to share the outcomes of the feedback.

A planning application is proposed to be submitted in March 2022. Residents and businesses will have additional opportunities to comment after the planning application is submitted.
